Use Promotr with Claude

Connect Claude to your account and run events, bookings, your team and tours by asking.

Connect

  1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Promotr and paste this URL:https://www.promotr.ca/api/mcp
  3. Choose Connect, sign in to Promotr, and pick the permissions you want to give Claude.

Claude acts as you and sees only what you can see on Promotr. It works in Claude on the web, desktop and mobile.

Things to ask

  • Create a draft event for Friday at my venue, 9pm to 2am, with two ticket tiers.
  • Who is promoting my next show, and how many tickets has each of them sold?
  • Is my usual venue free on November 20 from 8pm to 11pm? If so, send them a booking request.
  • I’m touring Vancouver in March. Which venues book house music, and which organizers run those nights?
  • Add Sam as door staff on Saturday’s event.

Permissions

You choose these when you connect. Claude can do only what you allow:

  • See your events, ticket sales, venues and team
  • Create and edit draft events, and publish them after you confirm
  • Add or remove promoters, staff and artists on your events
  • Request venue bookings and answer booking requests after you confirm
  • Apply to venues as your artist profile after you confirm
  • Read your Promotr messages
  • Send messages for you, labelled “via Claude”, after you confirm (off unless you turn it on)

Anything that goes public or reaches other people, like publishing an event, sending a booking request or an offer, applying to a venue or sending a message, needs your yes first. Claude shows you exactly what will be sent and waits. Messages Claude sends for you are labelled “via Claude”, and anyone can turn off emails about them under Notifications.

Stays on the website

Nothing that moves money can be done through Claude:

  • Refunds, payouts and Stripe setup
  • Paying deposits, and cancelling a confirmed booking
  • Buying tickets
  • Account, password and admin settings

Disconnect

Go to Profile, then Account, and choose Disconnect next to Claude under Connected apps. Claude loses access straight away. Questions? Contact support.
