Private Events on Promotr
Some of the best nights are invite-only. Promotr supports fully private venues and events — accessible only to members who have been approved or invited by the venue owner.
How It Works

Get Invited
A venue owner or member sends you an invitation link. Follow it to request access to the private venue.

Join the Venue
Once your request is approved, you become a member of that private venue and can see its exclusive events.

Access Exclusive Events
Browse, purchase tickets, and attend events that are invisible to the general public.
For Venue Owners
You control who has access to your venue. When you mark your venue as Private, all events hosted there are automatically hidden from the public events listing.
- Go to your venue settings and toggle the Private Venue switch.
- Use the Invite Members tool to send invite links via email or shareable URL.
- Approve or reject member requests from the venue dashboard.
- Members can purchase tickets to your private events once approved.
For Patrons
Interested in gaining access to exclusive private events? Here is how to get in:
- Ask a venue member for an invitation link, or look for venues accepting applications.
- Visit the venue page and submit a membership request.
- Once approved by the venue owner, private events will appear in your events feed.
- Your membership is tied to that specific venue and can be revoked at any time.
